After 7 rounds played we can already see who rules in the VTB United League and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked CSKA as it allowed them to take a leadership position. CSKA smashed 7th ranked Uralmash in Moscow 95-72. CSKA made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Uralmash turnovers. It was a great evening for Guyanese-French Livio Jean-Charles (205-1993) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Antonius Cleveland (196-1994, college: SEMO) helped adding 15 points. At the losing side American forward Tyrell Nelson (205-1995, college: Gardner-Webb) responded with 20 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSKA (6-1) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with UNICS. Uralmash at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. Uralmash will play next round against Samara trying to get back on the winning streak. CSKA will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Lokomotiv in Krasnodar.
